 note = {application/pdf, 現在，「祭礼研究」あるいは「都市祭礼（祝祭）研究」と呼ばれている分野を開拓した研究者に，中村孚美がいる。彼女は，精力的に数多くのモノグラフを記してきたが，これらの研究における特徴として，祭りと日常生活という両場面において，必要とされる能力に関連性があるとする語り口を挙げることができる。この刺激的な視点は，その後のこの分野における研究で，積極的に用いられることはなかったように思われる。そこで，本稿では，中村と同じ視点に立って，静岡県周智郡森町で行なわれる森の祭りを分析してみた。
その結果，一見すると，両者の間で必要とされる能力に関連性があるように見うけられるが，祭りの担い手からすると，これらは結びつくものではないことが分かった。というのも，彼らは，祭りと日常生活とは全く別物として認識しているため，これらを結びつけるという発想そのものが欠如していたからだ。
この認識の存在は，とりもなおさず，中村が研究対象としてきた地域との差異を意味する。従来のように，祭りに参加する人々の結合原理から分類すると，彼女が研究対象とした地域の祭りも，本稿で事例として取り上げた森の祭りも，ともに「伝統型祝祭」という同じカテゴリーに属すると考えられる。しかし，このように，祭りと日常生活とを担い手たちがどのように認識しているかという指標を加えると，同一のカテゴリーの中にも差異が存在していることを理解できよう。とすれば，次に問題となるのは，このような違いを我々はどのように捉えるべきかである。この点についても，最後に，補足的ではあるが，その方向性を示してみた。, NAKAMURA Fumi is a researcher who pioneered the field of “festival studies” or “urban festival studies”. She energetically monographed in this field, and one of the characteristics of these monographs is her opinion that the abilities required in both scenes of a festival and everyday life are relevant. Thereafter this incentive viewpoint does not seem to have been regarded positively.
This paper tries to analyze Mori festival in Mori-machi, Shuchi-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture, from the same viewpoint as NAKAMURA's.
As first sight, the abilities required in a festival and every day seemed relevant, but it has become clear that for the persons concerned in the festival, these abilities are not related. It is because they recognize that a festival and everyday life are completely different things, and they really lack conception of relating these two.
The existence of this recognition in itself implies difference from the areas where NAKAMURA researched. Being classified from the uniting theory of the festival participants, the festivals in the areas where NAKAMURA researched and Mori festival of this paper seem to belong to the same category of “traditional festivals”. However, if we add an index how people in a festival recognize the festival and every day, it can be seen that there exists difference even in one category. Then, the next issue is how we should grasp such difference. For this issue, the author's suggestion for the future is supplementally added at the end of this paper.},
