Rice paddy divisions by paddy ridges and drain ditches from each period have been discovered from sites covered in layers of flood sediment. A large number of wooden agricultural implements have also been excavated. The rice paddy divisions and agricultural implements have unique characteristics according to each time period and it is possible to determine the periods that they are from. The author has hypothesized the technological, political, and social factors that conquered natural conditions that led to those changes.\nThe changes in divisions of rice paddies on the Zenkoji Plain can be traced to four major time periods. Small-scale paddies that began from lowland development and disappeared in a short time dating from the late Jomon Period to the beginning of the middle of the Yayoi Period are considered Stage 0. From the mid-Yayoi Period to the early Kofun Period, the small division rice paddies that made effective use of the natural terrain for small and large paddy ridges are Stage I. Stage II dates from the mid- to late Kofun Period (Nara Period) in which there were large paddies divided by ridges that appear to have been deliberately planned. Within those large divisions were very small divisions. Jori system land division after the Heian Period is Stage III. Changes in agricultural implements also accompany these changes. Stage I is typified by straight hoes and curved hoes of various shapes. Hoes with square, plank shaped steel blades have also been found from this period. Within this stage, the curved hoes transformed to an eggplant shape in the early Kofun Period and this subdivision can be considered Stage 1-2. In Stage II U-shaped steel blades were attached to curved hoes and the straight striking hoe disappeared. In Stage III the curved hoe disappeared and there were only straight hoes topped with U-shaped steel blades.\nThe primary factors in the transition from Stage I to Stage II and from Stage II to Stage III can be considered to be due to the dissolution of regional society and land ownership, changes in the leadership effecting development, a revolution in agricultural technology that employed the power of livestock, a change toward colder weather, and other factors. A comprehensive study is necessary in the future.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[共同研究] 日本歴史における災害と開発 Ⅰ","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[Collaborative Research] Natural Disasters and Developments in Japanese History I","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00001037","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第96集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun4/index.html#no96","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"臼居, 直之","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"ウスイ, ナオユキ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Usui, Naoyuki","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_096_02.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"2.3 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_096_02.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1054/files/kenkyuhokoku_096_02.pdf"},"version_id":"687ee1ca-251a-421c-97bf-5e0909328cea"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"弥生・古墳時代における善光寺平の水田開発","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"弥生・古墳時代における善光寺平の水田開発","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Rice Paddy Development on the Zenkoji Plain in the Yayoi and Kofun Periods","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["124"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"1054","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["弥生・古墳時代における善光寺平の水田開発"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-08-01T01:52:52.060949+00:00"}
