Kaishinro is also well known as the place that was entered by force by agents and enforcers working for the Kanto authorities at the beginning of the crackdown on Yugaku. And it was the construction of the huge building that was Kaishinro that aroused the suspicions of the Kanto authorities concerning Yugaku in the first place.\nDuring the course of his Edo prosecution, Yugaku and his associates justified Kaishinro as a simple building born from the dedication of followers based on the tenet of frugality. Many primary resources remain today that were produced in the course of the construction of Kaishinro.\nDocuments dating from the drawings dated April 15, 1849 through to the local construction records of supporters up until the opening of the center on January 19 the following year establish the employment of builders, roofers, tatami makers, stonemasons and plasterers for the construction of the building through to the purchase of household items such as furniture, dishes, bedding and mosquito nets. At the same time, they also provide details on the labor provided by the supporters who were mobilized for the building's construction. It is precisely the actions of these supporters that serve as a barometer for measuring the competence of OHARA Yugaku's Sei-gaku association.\nEvidence was given during the Edo prosecution that Yugaku submitted documents to the law court claiming that the cost of the construction of Kaishinro was upward of 99 ryo of gold and that this money was put up by nine leading supporters. However, a close inspection of books relating to the construction put the cost upward of 449 ryo of gold, or as much as 4.5 times the amount that had been declared. Yugaku went to Edo to buy important materials, and bought pieces of furniture that may well be considered luxury items from well-known merchants. These purchases alone cost more than 72 ryo of gold.\nAs many as 4,432 supporters were mobilized over a 180-day period for the construction of Kaishinro, coming from a total of 24 villages. One cannot possibly play down the impact that the construction of Yugaku's Kaishinro had on this region. One could say that in light of its size, construction costs, and the number and origin of the supporters who were mobilized, in one sense it was only natural that the suspicions of the Kanto authorities were aroused. Kaishinro was destroyed and turned to ruins upon Yugaku's defeat in the Edo prosecution. Two paintings are all that remind us of its former grandeur.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"大原幽学と東総村落社会/[共同研究] 地域社会・文化の諸相と基層信仰","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"OHARA Yugaku and the Village Community in Toso District / [Collaborative Research] Various Aspects of Culture and Basic Beliefs in the Regional Community","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00001252","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第115集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun5/index.html#no115","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"高橋, 敏","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"タカハシ, サトシ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Takahashi, Satoshi","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_115_04.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"2.1 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_115_04.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1269/files/kenkyuhokoku_115_04.pdf"},"version_id":"8d920f74-4ddb-4d5c-b530-b13fef7a7001"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"大原幽学と改心楼の造営(大原幽学と性学教団)","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"大原幽学と改心楼の造営(大原幽学と性学教団)","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"OHARA Yugaku and the Construction of Kaishinro (OHARA Yugaku and “Sei-gaku” Groups)","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["141"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"1269","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["大原幽学と改心楼の造営(大原幽学と性学教団)"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-10-18T23:48:26.003195+00:00"}
