There is very little meaning in selecting for discussion this fact on its own when seeking to characterize Japanese culture since the Yayoi period as a \"rice cultivation culture\". Instead, a different perspective is required in order to compare Japan's culture with other regional cultures in East Asia.\nOne such perspective is the spread and impact of the Chinese style of intensive agriculture. This Chinese style of intensive agriculture has a singular and intensive resource rotation system. It is believed to have spread to both wet zones where rice cultivation prevailed and to dry zones where crop cultivation prevailed while firmly maintaining this man-made rotation system. Shedding light on the essence of this kind of Chinese style of intensive agriculture provides a new perspective and method for understanding the origins of Chinese culture and the process through which it spread to surrounding regions.\nOne particular method is to undertake a study of a society that is actually involved in the process of change from the perspective of its use of nature and changes thereof, and to explicate the process of change while gaining an understanding of the system of that society's strategies for adapting the way of life of its people. This method entails applying those results to historical cultural changes in an attempt to understand its framework.\nDuring the period from the end of the Warring States period through to the Han period, southern regions in China were forced to accept the Chinese style of intensive agriculture as a result of the increase in population brought about by the huge movement of population from the north of China. Factors for this change from a non-intensive style of agriculture to intensive agriculture were firstly population pressure and the need to increase food production as a means of increasing the maintenance ratio of this population. It is believed that this was subsequently followed by the following sequence: the introduction of new technologies such as those for manufacturing iron implements, increases and surpluses in the production of rice and other crops, changes in the existing use of nature, a shift to a system that was market dependent, the end of self-sufficient use of nature and the change to a Chinese style of intensive agriculture.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[第3回歴博国際シンポジウム] 東アジアにおける農耕社会の形成と文明への道","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[The 3rd REKIHAKU International Symposium of the National Museum of Japanese History] The Formation of Agricutural Societies and Civilization in East Asia","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00001298","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第119集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun5/index.html#no119","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"西谷, 大","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"ニシタニ, マサル","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Nishitani, Masaru","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_119_17.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.7 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_119_17.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1315/files/kenkyuhokoku_119_17.pdf"},"version_id":"0c372a9f-b5b1-49e1-beb9-accfea7ce599"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"国家成立と周辺地域における自然利用の変容 : アーキエスノロジー的方法論による一考察(Ⅱ部 都市―文明への道1―)","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"国家成立と周辺地域における自然利用の変容 : アーキエスノロジー的方法論による一考察(Ⅱ部 都市―文明への道1―)","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Changes in the Use of Nature with Respect to State Formation and Surrounding Regions (Section 2: Urban Society and War: Courses toward Civilization 1)","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["145"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"1315","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["国家成立と周辺地域における自然利用の変容 : アーキエスノロジー的方法論による一考察(Ⅱ部 都市―文明への道1―)"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-10-19T05:41:28.855457+00:00"}
