For example, it overcomes criticisms of the structuralist perception of people and society that does not place importance on individual subjectivity. Also, studies that are critical of the political nature and power structures surrounding the representation of the other and deconstruction of the concepts of “race,” “culture” and “history” that emerged in modern Western Europe are becoming entrenched.\nFolklore studies is also an academic discipline that has raised questions about “race” and “culture” on the subject of human beings, and cannot be expected to be immune from this trend. However, this trend is barely referred to in folklore, where in a self-contained and closed-off space the norm is for individual researchers to be preoccupied with their own studies on narrow topics.\nThis paper breaks free of this current situation in that it puts forward a tentative theory aimed at the creation of a new paradigm for folklore. It advocates and presents an outline of a new folklore that focuses on “methods of living” that are “methods used by people of flesh and blood to build their own lifestyle while selecting and employing the diverse range of things that exist in their surrounding world as resources.” This differs from conventional folklore that deals only with the forms of “folklore” as “specimens” and has been directed at the production of ideological statements such as “ethnic culture” and “Japanese culture” without engaging in the process of rational and empirical reviews.\nIf the purpose of folklore is neither to study “specimens” nor to construct ideologies like “ethnic culture” and “Japanese culture,” it should be revived as a discipline that questions people's “methods of living” among those who are actually alive. By explaining people' s “methods of living” under this new folklore it should be possible to offer interpretations on the relationship between human life and the environment and society that differ from those that have been made using the existing approaches of the humanities and social sciences.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[共同研究] 民俗学における現代文化研究","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[Collaborative Research] Study on Contemporary Culture in Folklore","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00001429","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第132集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun6/index.html#no132","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"島村, 恭則","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"シマムラ, タカノリ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"3601","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Shimamura, Takanori","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"3602","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_132_02.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"986.4 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_132_02.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1446/files/kenkyuhokoku_132_02.pdf"},"version_id":"408f929f-be6b-4337-a44c-a87f742f702e"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"〈生きる方法〉の民俗学へ : 民俗学のパラダイム転換へ向けての一考察","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"〈生きる方法〉の民俗学へ : 民俗学のパラダイム転換へ向けての一考察","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Folklore on “Methods of Living” : A Discussion Toward a Paradigm Shift in Folklore","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["158"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"1446","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["〈生きる方法〉の民俗学へ : 民俗学のパラダイム転換へ向けての一考察"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-10-12T05:59:05.480620+00:00"}
