I had the opportunity to see a typical dance, Misaki, that means Pilot Deity, but actually an ogre, a couple of years ago. I was strongly impressed, especially by the fierce battle between the priest and the ogre, with the other audience. However, the leader of the Kagura group explained to us that the battle was Leading the Way soon later. The hall was filled with quiet laughter. Laughter is generally caused by some kind of contradiction. In this case it was pointed out that there was a gap between a ritual performance and its oral tradition. Why did it occur? First, we focus on the subjects that were performing and maintaining the Kagura dance exclusively. They were not Shinto priests whom we can see nowadays, but esoteric Buddhist-Shinto priests at least in the early Edo period. Even today we can recognize some fragments of Tantric spells in the Kagura scripts left there. Therefore, Buzen Kagura should be seen as originally a magico-religious ritual which was believed to accomplish some objectives, rather than as folk art. Then, we can understand why frequent alterations of Kagura occurred through the Edo period. They were based on the reactionary anti-Buddhist movements that were composed of Revival Shinto thinkers and priests who all shared the perspective of longing for antiquity. They altered most of the Kagura scripts without a troubled conscience to fit with The Record of Ancient Matters and Chronicles of Japan. However, their alteration of Kagura has not been completed yet. Rather, they left it uncompleted and could not but hand them down to people because of the ban on dancing by Shinto priests in the early Meiji period. And this is the reason why there is a discrepancy between what was performed and what was explained about Buzen Kagura.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[共同研究] 民俗学における現代文化研究","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[Collaborative Research] Study on Contemporary Culture in Folklore","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00001435","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第132集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun6/index.html#no132","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"白川, 琢磨","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"シラカワ, タクマ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Shirakawa, Takuma","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_132_08.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"3.7 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_132_08.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1452/files/kenkyuhokoku_132_08.pdf"},"version_id":"fcedd68b-bef1-4d62-8f92-29aa8c323e1a"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"豊前神楽","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"駈仙(ミサキ)","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"宗教儀礼","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"寺社勢力","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"中世神話","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"神仏分離","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"〈落差〉を解く : 豊前神楽をめぐる歴史人類学的一解釈","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"〈落差〉を解く : 豊前神楽をめぐる歴史人類学的一解釈","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Puzzling out “the Gap” : An Interpretation of the Buzen Kagura in Terms of Anthropology of History","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["158"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"1452","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["〈落差〉を解く : 豊前神楽をめぐる歴史人類学的一解釈"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-10-12T06:08:39.778520+00:00"}
