{"created":"2023-05-15T14:46:32.737806+00:00","id":1516,"links":{},"metadata":{"_buckets":{"deposit":"24615be4-bcc8-4e71-93db-bf3b0c3b839b"},"_deposit":{"created_by":3,"id":"1516","owners":[3],"pid":{"revision_id":0,"type":"depid","value":"1516"},"status":"published"},"_oai":{"id":"oai:rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp:00001516","sets":["21:163"]},"author_link":["3743","3744"],"control_number":"1516","item_10002_biblio_info_7":{"attribute_name":"書誌情報","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"2007-03-30","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicPageEnd":"185","bibliographicPageStart":"157","bibliographicVolumeNumber":"137","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"国立歴史民俗博物館研究報告","bibliographic_titleLang":"ja"},{"bibliographic_title":"Bulletin of the National Museum of Japanese History","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_10002_description_19":{"attribute_name":"フォーマット","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"application/pdf","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10002_description_5":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"本稿は,考古学的事実を使って較正曲線上に土器型式をおとしていく方法について論じたものである。対象とした時期は九州の縄文晩期:天城式・入佐式から弥生中期初頭:城ノ越式までの約800年間である。\n当該期の較正曲線はいわゆる2400年問題の領域を含んでいるために,弥生前期の板付Ⅱa式や板付Ⅱb式のように300年間にわたって年代を絞りきれない土器型式もある。\nこのように理化学的方法だけでは,土器型式の炭素14年代値の位置さえも較正曲線上に落とせないのに,ましてや考古学が必要とする精度の較正年代を得ることは実質不可能である。しかし土器型式の炭素14年代値の位置を事前にしぼりこんで較正曲線上に落とすことができれば較正年代の絞り込みにも有利と考えられる。\nそこでまず,当該期に属する100例あまりの炭素14年代値から,海洋リザーバー効果の影響が明らかに認められるものや炭素量不足で古い年代を示すものを外し,さらに各土器型式の上限値と下限値のうち,値が集中する領域からかけ離れているものを外した上で整理する。そうして残った炭素14年代を土器型式ごとに1σの範囲で較正曲線上に位置を落としていく。すると,まず2400年問題にかからない夜臼Ⅱa式以前と,板付Ⅱc~城ノ越式の位置が確定することになる。\n次に夜臼Ⅱb式と板付Ⅰ式のように下限の炭素14年代が誤差の部分で2400年問題にかかる可能性のある土器型式,板付Ⅱc式のように上限がかかる可能性のある土器型式,そして上限・下限とも2400年問題にかかる可能性のある板付Ⅱa・Ⅱb式の,4つの土器型式の絞り込みを考古学的事実をふまえながらおこなった。\n以上のような考古学的事実を加えた炭素14年代の絞り込み作業を土器型式をもちいたウィグルマッチ法とよび,この作業のあとに較正曲線の絞り込みをおこなえばより正確な較正年代が得られることを論考した。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"This paper discusses a method for placing pottery types on a calibration curve using archaeological facts. Covering Amagi and Irisa Late Jomon pottery from Kyushu through to Jonokoshi pottery from the beginning of Middle Yayoi, this study spans a period of approximately 800 years.\nBecause the so-called “2400-year problem” comes into the calibration curve for this period, there are also pottery types which cannot be fitted into a 300-year period. These include Early Yayoi Itazuke phase IIa-type and Itazuke phase lIb-type pottery.\nIn this way, since physiochemical methods alone cannot be used to place carbon-14 dates of pottery types on to a calibration curve, it is actually impossible to obtain calibrated dates of a precision required by archaeology. However, the narrowing down of calibrated dates would be helped if it were possible to narrow down carbon-14 dates for pottery types first and then place them on a calibration curve.\nWith this in mind, we then took carbon-14 dates from over 100 samples from the period under study after removing data which had clearly been influenced by the marine reservoir effect, data which showed old dates due to the lack of carbon content, and data with maximum and minimum values for each type of pottery which did not fall within the range of concentration. We then placed the remaining carbon-14 dates within a 1σrange for each pottery type and placed them on the calibration curve. In so doing, we determined the positions for Yusu IIa pottery which is not affected by the 2400-year problem and pottery from Itazuke IIc through to Jonokoshi-type pottery.\nWe then narrowed down four pottery types taking archaeological facts into account. These were pottery types like Yusu IIb and Itazuke I for which errors for the minimum carbon-14 dates could be affected by the 2400-year problem, pottery types like Itazuke IIc whose maximum values could be affected, and Itazuke IIa and IIb-type pottery for which both the maximum and minimum values are affected by the 2400-year problem.\nWe call this task of narrowing down carbon-14 dates while taking account of archaeological facts the wiggle-matching method using pottery types.
