This kagura was performed until around the 1980's by religious believers called Tayu in the Monobe district of Kochi Prefecture. The study examines the characteristics of various rituals in which divine spirits appear.\nEven today, between November and February prayers are said in homes for Onzagi, the guardian deity of households, and miko-gami, which represent the spirits of ancestors. In the Takujin-sai, an important ceremony held once every decade or every several decades, kagura was performed in order to obtain takusen from deities. These oracles served to warn family members and others in the community of disasters and to teach people how to live together in harmony. When people became physically possessed by a divine spirit they spun violently in a dance called “kurukuru-mai.” When this happened there was a danger that receiving evil spirits would make a person mad. There was, however, a custom that prevented this in which paper called “hedate no kami” was inserted down the front or back of the person's clothing.\nThere were quite a few families in Monobe which performed toriage-kagura in which the spirits of ancestors were transferred to the miko-gami, the deity enshrined in the home. However, when the ancestor had been a yamabushi his spirit was not enshrined in the family home. Instead, kagura was substituted by a ritual which sent the ancestor's spirit to Mt. Omine. In some instances it was at this point that there was a takusen in which the yamabushi said farewell to the family. In Monobe there was a Tendai-ryu tradition which was a Shugen type of folk religion based in Nikko-in. According to this Tendai-ryu toriage, the spirits of ancestors were not enshrined in the family home but were sent to Mt. Omine.\nIn addition to examining these takusen, this study also explores other rituals, including “mukou-kagura” performed as part of toriage-kagura, as well as a ritual known as “shiki-age.” In toriage-kagura, the spirit of the ancestor welcomed back home from the grave is made to undertake ascetic training called “gyomon gyotai” in which the spirit obtains the status worthy of a guardian deity. At such times, mukou-kagura is used to determine the extent and stages of the ascetic training. This is decided in accordance with changes to a mound of rice on a plate or a tray of wood.\nWhen summoning the spirit of an ancestor that had been a tayu while alive and had laid curses and got rid of evil, the “Ozuso” (great curse) that had been created by hatred and ill feelings impeded the spirit from becoming a miko-gami. At such times, a ritual called “shiki-age” was performed to send the “Ozuso” to the celestial world. The power of a divine spirit called “Shikiouji,” which was believed to possess the power to appeal to and control other divine spirits, was required in the shiki-age. On these occasions, a tale recounting the origin of Shikiouji was included as part of the ritual.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[共同研究] 宗教者の身体と社会","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[Collaborative Research] The Bodies of Religious Figures and Society","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00001575","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第142集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun6/index.html#no142","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"松尾, 恒一","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"マツオ, コウイチ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"3941","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Matsuo, Koichi","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"3942","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_142_12.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"725.4 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_142_12.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1592/files/kenkyuhokoku_142_12.pdf"},"version_id":"5378d4d5-016e-48e8-ade9-c33423c5ff1f"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"いざなぎ流、託宣祈禱の諸相 : 神霊と交感する言葉と身体(第Ⅰ部 論考 / 2. 呪術と身体)","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"いざなぎ流、託宣祈禱の諸相 : 神霊と交感する言葉と身体(第Ⅰ部 論考 / 2. 呪術と身体)","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Various Aspects of Izanagi-ryu Oracles and Prayers : Language and the Physical Body When Communing with Divine Spirits","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["168"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"1592","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["いざなぎ流、託宣祈禱の諸相 : 神霊と交感する言葉と身体(第Ⅰ部 論考 / 2. 呪術と身体)"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-08-07T00:41:43.586589+00:00"}
