The shrine was completely destroyed by fire twice, once in 1207 and then again in 1223. It is thought that when it was reconstructed in the Ninji era in 1241, when the shosengu ceremony was held in which the kami was returned to the main shrine, it was of the style that had been adopted in the Ninan era.\nAlthough quite a lot of research has been done on Itsukushima Shrine, research on the Ninji era passageways is limited to that conducted by Dr. Toshio Fukuyama. However, Dr. Fukuyama’s research only points out the general styles, and does not extend to making drawings of their restoration. Using order forms for wood for the construction of Itsukishima Shrine which specify the wood needed for the shrine’s reconstruction in the Ryakunin era in 1239 as its main source, this paper presents a detailed reconstructive analysis that includes the finer details of the Ninji era passageways.\nThis reconstructive analysis revealed that the Ninji passageways were generally the same in size and structural form as the shrine’s current passageways, although there are slight differences in some of the details. Some differences worth mentioning are that as well as the previously noted addition of flying geese pattern panels and the adoption of wooden tiles for the main ridge, boat-shaped brackets (funahijiki) were adopted on the inside of the roof beams and large bearing blocks on the outside. The author’s analysis also establishes that the diagonal braces (sasuzao) and the bearing blocks lying on top of the braces, whose thinness would be thought absurd today, date back to the Ninji era. Although Dr. Fukuyama claims that the Ninji passageways had posts embedded directly in the earth, judging from the length of the posts it is very likely that they were erected on foundation stones. Accordingly, although the passageways that exist today were rebuilt between 1558 and 1615, with the exception of some finer details they closely follow the Ninji passageways. Furthermore, the names of construction materials used in days gone by have nearly all been identified through this reconstruction process. Consequently, this reconstruction of the Ninji passageways also serves as an aid for studies of the Ninan era, a time about which little is known.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[共同研究] 神仏信仰に関する通史的研究","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[Collaborative Research] Historical Study of Japanese Shrines and Shinto Beliefs","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00001653","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第148集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun6/index.html#no148","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"山口, 佳巳","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"ヤマグチ, ヨシミ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yamaguchi, Yoshimi","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_148_08.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"3.5 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_148_08.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1670/files/kenkyuhokoku_148_08.pdf"},"version_id":"4bfaaddd-3559-4ac1-baa5-557a9ef29470"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"仁治度厳島神社廻廊の復元的研究","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"仁治度厳島神社廻廊の復元的研究","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"A Reconstructive Study of the Ninji Era Passageways of Itsukushima Shrine","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["174"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"1670","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["仁治度厳島神社廻廊の復元的研究"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-08-14T00:09:06.399696+00:00"}
