The people of the Jomon culture tended to settle in habitable areas just beyond the northern border of the temperate zone of the Japanese Archipelago due to difficulties in adapting to the cold climate. The Jomon population were not willing to expand northward into cold climate areas that were difficult to inhabit unless the living environment met their needs. Among such cold areas, the Jomon population found it worth their while to settle in northeastern Hokkaido because it was rich with marine resources and stones; however, the extreme weather conditions in the Okhotsk coast made it difficult for them to maintain the same lifestyle as in temperate areas and left many no choice but to withdraw from the area. In addition, some of the Jomon population are likely to have expanded into Sakhalin and the Kurile Islands when these areas became habitable as a result of the expansion of the temperate zone, but during the period of the early Holocene to the final Jomon they did not long term settle there as they could not change their lifestyle or adapt sustainably to the different ecosystem. The closer to the subarctic zone they got, the more difficult it became to fulfill the living needs of the Jomon population. In brief, it was extremely risky for them to expand into the subarctic zone in the northern boundary region of the Japanese Archipelago.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_description_6":{"attribute_name":"内容記述","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"一部非公開情報あり","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[共同研究] 先史時代における社会複雑化・地域多様化の研究","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[Collaborative Research] Study of Social Complexity and Regional Diversification in the Prehistoric Age","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第208集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun9/index.html#no208","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"福田, 正宏","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"フクダ, マサヒロ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"5744","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Fukuda, Masahiro","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"5745","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2019-03-29"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_208_02.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"6.5 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_208_02.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2378/files/kenkyuhokoku_208_02.pdf"},"version_id":"d896e6b8-a0ea-4318-922e-b986e6b66bbb"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"縄文文化","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"北海道","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"ロシア極東","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"寒冷地適応","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"環境変動","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Jomon culture","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Hokkaido","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Russian Far East","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"adaptation to the cold climate","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"environmental changes","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"縄文文化の北方適応形態","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"縄文文化の北方適応形態","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Jomon Cultural Adaptations to the Northern Environment","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["233"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2019-03-29"},"publish_date":"2019-03-29","publish_status":"0","recid":"2378","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["縄文文化の北方適応形態"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-07-25T00:18:23.970686+00:00"}
