 note = {application/pdf, 龍宮とは海の中に存在するとされてきた理想郷で，そことかかわるさまざまな説話や伝承が民俗文化のなかには遺されている。本稿は海中の異界の代表としての龍宮をめぐる比較民俗研究のための予備的な考察である。
そのための素材として1930年に日本で刊行された孫晋泰の『朝鮮民譚集』をとりあげる。この書物は日韓の民俗研究の胚胎期における重要な資料集であった。ここに収載された説話は，編者が直接に聞き取った当時の伝承が中心をなしている。そのなかで，①国土を支えているとされる巨大な水棲生物をどのようにとらえていたか，②日本の「浦島太郎」に代表される龍宮訪問譚における水界の生き物の役割と位置づけ，さらには，③海の龍宮が山の神やその信仰とどのように関わるのか，といった点を糸口に，比較研究の可能性と意義について考察してみた。
これらの分析視角からは，日韓双方の民俗文化の基底にある共通要素やそれらと宗教文化との関わり，地理的生業的な条件が，信仰や説話の伝承に与える影響などといった論点を抽出することができる。今後はこうした点に留意してさらに比較研究を進めていく必要があるといえよう。, Ryūgū is a utopia that is said to have existed in the sea, and this notion has been handed down through various related tales, legends, and folk customs. This paper is thus a preliminary inquiry of comparative folk studies on Ryūgū as a model underwater world.
 Hence, Son Jin-tae’s Korean Folk Stories, published in Japan in 1930, is used for the study analysis. This book is an important collection of works from the early period of Japanese–Korean folk studies. The tales listed therein are mainly contemporary legends that the editor had heard directly. Moreover, potential and significant comparative research is conducted beginning with the representation of huge aquatic creatures that protected the country; the role and position of aquatic creatures in Ryūgū tales represented by Japan’s “Urashima Tarō”; and the association between Ryūgū in the sea, the mountain gods, and belief in the mountain gods.
 From these analytical perspectives, the following viewpoints can be extracted: common factors underlying the Japanese and Korean folk cultures, their connection with religious beliefs, and the influence of geographical and occupational conditions on the transmission of beliefs and folk tales. In the future, promoting further comparative research by focusing to these perspectives will be essential.},
