Radiocarbon dates were acquired and calibrated by the Marine20 method.\nFrom the 12th to 9th century BC, interaction between two populations occurred along the Kuroshio stream. In the south, groups from the Okinawa islands sailed along the coral reefs of the Kuroshio area. The other group relates to the Jōmon population in Kyūshū. They mostly sailed along the western coast of Kyūshū southward to the northern Kuroshio area with its few coral reefs. In this area between south Kyūshū and the northern parts of the Kuroshio stream interaction between both groups can be observed. Later in the 8th century BC, groups from the Yayoi population from Kyūshū straightly sailed down to the Okinawa islands, and since the population of Okinawa accepted the newcomers, this direct relationship between both groups could evolve into shell trade. Evidence of this process are cist burials left at Momenbaru site on Okinawa island. The incipient period of shell trade corresponds to the later half of the Nakabaru type pottery stage of the Late Shellmound period in Okinawa and the Itazuke 1 type pottery stage in the Early Yayoi period in northern Kyūshū.\nIn Late Shell-mound sites in Okinawa, various forms of shell deposits can be observed. They contain unrefined shell bracelets or just unprocessed shells. These can be regarded as storages for trade.\nA number of shells from a selection of deposits were analyzed as regards their dates and their find locations. The results show mainly two cases:\nDeposits were created and used several times for trade; they include old shells left by former trade interactions beside shells that were prepared for a last trade interaction; these are deposits in base sites.\nDeposits that were created for a one time trade interaction and left unused later; many deposits belong to this case.\nThe Yayoi population in Kyūshū almost ceased to use shells from Okinawa around the middle of the 2nd century AD, while later, during the 4th century AD, part of the Kofun population from the Kinki region started consuming these shells. Since shell deposits in Okinawa are almost not known from the period around 200 AD we can conclude that consumption and production of shells in two places correspond clearly.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"[新学術領域研究「ヤポネシアゲノム」計画研究] 考古学データによるヤポネシア人の歴史の解明","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"Elucidating the History of Yaponesian Based on Archaeological Data","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第229集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun10/index.html#no229","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"木下, 尚子","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"キノシタ, ナオコ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"KINOSHITA, Naoko","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2023-03-31"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_229_03.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"2.2 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_229_03.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2798/files/kenkyuhokoku_229_03.pdf"},"version_id":"9ff61995-e6cc-4377-a005-addd67c89810"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"貝殻集積","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"IntCal20","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"貝交易前夜","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"貝交易開始期","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"沖縄諸島","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"木綿原遺跡","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"仲原式土器","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Shell Deposits","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"IntCal20","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"The night before Shell Trade","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Starting Period of Shell Trade","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Okinawa Islands","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Momenbaru Site","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Nakabaru type Pottery","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"[論文] 貝殻集積からみた先史時代の貝交易(2) : 2019年の炭素14年代測定結果をもとに","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"[論文] 貝殻集積からみた先史時代の貝交易(2) : 2019年の炭素14年代測定結果をもとに","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"[Article] Reconstruction of Neolithic Shell Trade Based on Radiocarbon Data from Shell Deposits in the Okinawa Islands (2), FY2019","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["258"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2023-03-31"},"publish_date":"2023-03-31","publish_status":"0","recid":"2798","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["[論文] 貝殻集積からみた先史時代の貝交易(2) : 2019年の炭素14年代測定結果をもとに"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-07-26T07:54:05.691594+00:00"}
