{"created":"2023-05-15T14:45:44.937418+00:00","id":565,"links":{},"metadata":{"_buckets":{"deposit":"3c8e5cd5-4a52-4033-8bca-500b78343913"},"_deposit":{"created_by":3,"id":"565","owners":[3],"pid":{"revision_id":0,"type":"depid","value":"565"},"status":"published"},"_oai":{"id":"oai:rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp:00000565","sets":["21:72"]},"author_link":["1845","1846"],"control_number":"565","item_10002_biblio_info_7":{"attribute_name":"書誌情報","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"1992-03-31","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicPageEnd":"135","bibliographicPageStart":"121","bibliographicVolumeNumber":"40","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"国立歴史民俗博物館研究報告","bibliographic_titleLang":"ja"},{"bibliographic_title":"Bulletin of the National Museum of Japanese History","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_10002_description_19":{"attribute_name":"フォーマット","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"application/pdf","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10002_description_5":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"これまで行った調査により,日本人画家が日本国内あるいはヨーロッパの各地で制作した19世紀後半の油彩画の下地は,天然に産出する白亜を主成分とする白亜型,鉛白を主成分とする鉛白型,その他として亜鉛華を含む下地の3種類の系統に分類できることが分った。更に,白亜型下地は日本およびイギリスで制作された作品に多く,鉛白型下地はフランスおよびイタリアにて制作された作品に特徴的であることから,下地の種類と制作地とに強い関連性が存在することも明かとなった。この内イギリスと日本に共通する白亜型下地は,当時の日本の社会的状況や,日本周辺の地層からは白亜が大量に産出しないことなどを考え合わせ,イギリスで生産されたものと判断されるが,多くのカンバスがカンバスマークなどの生産地を特定する記録を持たないためそれを実証することが出来なかった。\nそこで,19世紀イギリスにおけるカンバス製造の実体を調査すると共に,イギリス製カンバスの分析によって下地組成に関する知見を得,これによって白亜型下地とイギリスにおいて製造された下地との関連性を検証することとした。本稿では,19世紀イギリス絵画のカンバスに押されたスタンプ,布の経緯糸の本数,下地の状態,および19世紀イギリスにおけるカンバス製造会社の推移に関して行った調査について述べる。調査によって,カンバスのスタンプマークは必ずしも総ての製品に押されるものではなく,むしろ19世紀では稀な性格のものであることが判明した。また,カンバスの経緯糸の本数は経緯糸共に15本前後のものが過半数を占め,これが19世紀に特徴的な布であると言えるだろう。これら2点は,わが国の19世紀の作品にも共通する特徴である。次に,カンバスの製造会社に関しては,少なくとも15社が営業していたことが明かとなった。18,19世紀イギリスの職業別分類帳による調査結果を参考にすると,Reeves&Sons,Geo.Rowney,Thomas Brown,Chales Roberson,Winsor&Newton社等の製品が比較的多く使用されたと推測できる。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"Previous investigations into materials used in the grounds of Japanese oil paintings in the late 19th century had shown that the grounds could be classified into 1) chalk type, 2) lead white type, and 3) others according to their elements and structures. It was also found that chalk type grounds were found in the paintings produced in Japan and England and that lead white type grounds were found in the paintings produced in France and Italy.\nIn this paper, 1125 nineteenth century English oil paintings in the Tate gallery were examined to find for stamp marks, to determine the number of woof and weft per square centimeter of fabric as a support, and to check the condition of the surface of the grounds. The result was compared with nineteenth century canvas manufacturers in England, which had been investigated using directories of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries published in England. It was revealed that less than 10 percent of paintings had stamp marks, and the most popular numbers for woof and weft were about 15 respectively.
