{"created":"2023-05-15T14:45:46.650022+00:00","id":598,"links":{},"metadata":{"_buckets":{"deposit":"6c44ac64-a2bd-49b9-b512-64e88c43cc0f"},"_deposit":{"created_by":3,"id":"598","owners":[3],"pid":{"revision_id":0,"type":"depid","value":"598"},"status":"published"},"_oai":{"id":"oai:rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp:00000598","sets":["21:77"]},"author_link":["1905","1906"],"control_number":"598","item_10002_biblio_info_7":{"attribute_name":"書誌情報","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"1992-12-25","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicPageEnd":"37","bibliographicPageStart":"1","bibliographicVolumeNumber":"45","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"国立歴史民俗博物館研究報告","bibliographic_titleLang":"ja"},{"bibliographic_title":"Bulletin of the National Museum of Japanese History","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_10002_description_19":{"attribute_name":"フォーマット","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"application/pdf","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10002_description_5":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"岩手（いわて）県水沢（みずさわ）市の胆沢城跡（いさわじようあと）から出土した一点の木簡は、「内神（うちがみ）」を警護する射手（いて）の食料を請求したものである。その出土地点は胆沢城の中心・政庁（せいちよう）の西北隅（せいほくすみ）であったことから、ここに内神が祀（まつ）られたと理解した。そこで、古代の文献史料をみると、例えば『今昔物語集（こんじやくものがたりしゆう）』には、藤原氏の邸宅・東三条殿（とうさんじようでん）の戌亥隅（いぬいのすみ）（西北隅）に神を祀っており、その神を「内神」と称している。『三代実録（さんだいじつろく）』によれば、都の左京職（さきようしき）や織部司（おりべのつかさ）に戌亥隅神（いぬいのすみのかみ）が祀られている。一方、地方においても、国府内に「中神」「裏神」（うちがみ）が置かれていた。以上の史料はいずれも九世紀以降のものである。郡家については、八世紀の文書に西北隅に神が祀られていたとみえる。こうした役所の施設内の西北隅に神が祀られたのがいつからかは定かでないが、やがて中央の役所や地方の国府などの最も象徴的な施設の西北隅に小さな神殿を形式的に設けたのであろう。この西北隅は、福徳（ふくとく）をもたらす方角として重視されたことが、各地の民俗例において確認できる。〝屋敷神（やしきがみ）〟を西北隅に祀る信仰は、古代以来の役所の一隅に祀った内神を引き継ぐものと理解できる。\n近年の考古学の発掘調査によれば、例えば陸奥国（むつのくに）の国府が置かれた多賀城（たがじよう）跡では、その中心となる政庁地区において創建期から第Ⅲ期まで、一貫して左右対称に整然と建物が配置されるが、九世紀後半に至り、それまで建物のなかった西北部に建物が新設され、しかも複雑な建物構造をもち、その後数回建て替えられている。この西北部の建物の時期は、さきの文献史料の傾向とも合致する点、注目される。今後の重要な課題の一つは、諸官衙内に祀られた戌亥隅神の成立時期およびその神の性格などについて明らかにすることである。本稿はあくまでも一点の木簡の出現を契機として、広範な資料の検討を通して中央・地方の諸官衙の西北隅に神を祀っている事実を指摘し、古代の官衙構造や日本文化における基層信仰の実態解明の一資料となることを目的としたものである。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"A wooden tablet excavated from the Isawa Castle site in Mizusawa City, Iwate Prefecture, was a demand for foodstuffs for archers guarding the “Uchigami” (inner god). From the fact that the site of excavation was at the northwest corner of the local government office, at the center of Isawa Castle, the author took this to means that the Uchigami was enshrined there. Then, perusing historical documents from Ancient Times, we find a mention, for example, in the “Konjaku Monogatarishû”, that a god was enshrined at the northwest corner of the Tô-Sanjôden (residence of the Fujiwara Clan), and that the god was called “Uchigami”. According to “Sandai Jitsuroku”, a northwest corner god was enshrined in the Sakyôshiki (office governing the left half of the capital) and the Oribe-no-Tsukasa (Overseer of the Weavers' “be”, or groups). On the other hand, in the provinces, “Uchigami” was also enshrined within Kokufu (the provincial capitals). The above documents all date back to the 9th century or later. A document of the 8th century shows that gods were enshrined at the northwest corner of Gûke (district offices). Such enshrinement of gods at the northwest corner was probably carried out from Ancient Times in Japan. Though it is not clear when these shrines came to be set up in the facilities of government offices, it may be supposed that a small shrine was established for the sake of formality at the northwest corner of the most symbolic building of the central or local government offices. It can be confirmed from folkloric examples in various regions that great importance was attached to the northwest corner as a direction which brings good luck. The belief in the enshrinement of a “Yashiki Gami” (House God) at the northwest corner of houses can be understood to have come from the Uchigami enshrined at the corner of government offices since Ancient Times. According to the results of recent archaeological excavations, the ruins of Taga Castle at the provincial center of Mutsu county, for example, showed that in the government area at its center, buildings were symmetrically and regularly arranged from the initial period through the third period, and there existed no buildings in the northwest section. However, in the latter half of the 9th century, new buildings were constructed only in the northwest section. These had a complex building structure, and they were rebuilt several times. It deserves note that the period of these northwest buildings conforms to the trends in the above historical documents. One of the important problems to be tackled is to make clear when the northwest corner god was enshrined in various offices, and what the nature of the god was.
