When examining this regionality from the aspect of Ethnobotany, what are the basic problems? In this paper, the author has tried picking out basic issues in the mura as the unit, concerning what should be investigated and in what way and how they should be compared. This is a basic study for extracting regional variations. The author emphasizes the necessity of, first of all, dividing the Japanese Archipelago environmentally in an appropriately flora-ecological manner, then to see whether the traditional way of life in these sections can be classified similarly with regard to a system of the utilization of wild plants. For this purpose, the author takes as his environmental divisions two muras with two types of oak forest (Quercus serrata and Quercus glaucd); to extract the differences in the way plants are utilized, a system which is closely connected with the way of life. This indicates that there exist systems of utilization adapted to the secondary forests of the original, natural vegetation of the regions concerned. We assert that the plant materials with an equivalent relationship to the way of life of each region have the same status in its Ethnobotany, and attempts reversely to classify the environments and the way of life, by using these corresponding materials for analysis. While Ethnobotany have been used as convenient materials for theories on the origin and diffusion of folk customs, looking at the relationship between these corresponding materials and the way of life suggests the possibility of providing a different view point. This is an assertion that the study of Ethnobotany must take a stance similar to the “regional analysis method” advocated by Fukuta Azio. Yanagita Kunio suggested, in his “Torishiba-kō”, that the Lindera umbellata was an “aromatic” plant dedicated to the gods in very ancient times, predating Cleyera japonica. However, before starting a discuss with the origin of Japanese culture, we should be aware of the corroborative relationship between Ethnobotany and traditional way of life. The author wonders if clues regarding distribution and diffusion can be found before the extraction of such regional variances. We must realize that the study of Ethnobotany in that sense is still at a very elementary stage.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"民俗の地域差と地域性2/特定研究「日本歴史における地域性」成果報告-4","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"Regional Differences and Regionalism in Japanese Folk Culture 2 / Research Project on Regioralism in Japanese History; Report 4","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00000661","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第52集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun3/index.html#no52","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"篠原, 徹","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"シノハラ, トオル","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Shinohara, Toru","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_052_10.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.2 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_052_10.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/678/files/kenkyuhokoku_052_10.pdf"},"version_id":"487c3022-e56a-4d34-9d10-a2773e4dbe1b"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"植物民俗にみる地域差 : 樹種選定と植生","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"植物民俗にみる地域差 : 樹種選定と植生","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Regional Variation seen in Ethnobotany : Selection of Tree Type and Vegetation","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["85"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"678","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["植物民俗にみる地域差 : 樹種選定と植生"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-08-10T04:36:11.259462+00:00"}
