The construction orders were part of the campaign to assert the supremacy of the Tokugawa shogunal family among other forces as the leader of warrior clans in the country. Historians have for a long time accorded ample attention to the Tōshōgū shrines dedicated to the first Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu at Kunōzan hill (Shizuoka prefecture) and Nikkō (Tochigi prefecture) as examples of that campaign. Throughout the early modern period the Tōshōgū at the two locations enjoyed generous patronage of the shogunate at the sanctuary of the Tokugawa family.\nThe temples and shrines that could boast of close ties with the Tokugawa family during the Edo period include not only those dedicated directly to the family but some located in the area covering the eastern Mikawa province (now southern part of Aichi prefecture) and Tōtōmi province (now part of Shizuoka prefecture) from which the Tokugawa originated, and in the Nitta-shō area of the Kōzuke province (now Gunma prefecture) where the family' s ancestors had lived prior to their move to Mikawa. How the shogunate patronized these temples and shrines varied depending on the nature of their relationships. Especially in the eighteenth century and the following decades, as the financial fortunes of the Tokugawa declined, the degree of closeness to the Tokugawa Family made a great difference in the content and degree of shogunal family patronage and assistance.\nThis paper focuses of the Iga Hachiman Shrine in Okazaki where the deified ancestors (ujigami) of the Matsudaira and Tokugawa families were enshrined. Ieyasu was born into the Matsudaira Family, and changed his surname to Tokugawa after he became lord of the provinces of Mikwa and Tōtōmi. The paper describes the actual circumstances of shogunal assistance to the shrine, specifically examining the Iga Hachiman Shrine priests' request made in the mid-eighteenth century for shogunal assistance for restoration of buildings that had deteriorated over the past century since previous major repairs, and the response to the request on the part of the jisha bugyō (Commissioner of Temples and Shrines) under the shogunate's retrenchment policy. It reveals how the priests and the Commissioner, both belonging to the ruling class, debated over the maintenanece of shrine buildings that were considered embodiments of shogunal authority vis-ā-vis the populace.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"日本の農耕文化の諸問題―農耕文化研究会研究成果報告 1―","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"Studies on Farming Culture","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00000758","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第66集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun3/index.html#no66","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"湯浅, 隆","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"ユアサ, タカシ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yuasa, Takashi","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_066_05.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"838.8 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_066_05.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/775/files/kenkyuhokoku_066_05.pdf"},"version_id":"79da77a4-72ea-4468-ab3a-988bb1dd1f8a"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"徳川将軍家に縁故ある神社をめぐる寺社奉行と神主 : 岡崎にある伊賀八幡宮の社殿維持をめぐって","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"徳川将軍家に縁故ある神社をめぐる寺社奉行と神主 : 岡崎にある伊賀八幡宮の社殿維持をめぐって","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Jisha Bugyō and Shinto Priests of a Shrine Affiliated with the Tokugawa Family of Shoguns : Confrontation over the Maintenance of the Buildings of the Iga Hachiman Shrine in Okazaki","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["97"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"775","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["徳川将軍家に縁故ある神社をめぐる寺社奉行と神主 : 岡崎にある伊賀八幡宮の社殿維持をめぐって"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-08-18T04:27:15.923954+00:00"}
