What came to be taught in the post-war period was a more credible Japanese history for which the Stone age served as a starting point. However it was not long before conservative political forces reemerged in an attempt to revive emperor-centered education by denying scientific history.\nIn 1955 the excellent archaeologist Kobayashi Yukio published a paper entitled “The Historical Significance of the Emergence of Kofun”, in which, using bronze mirrors as evidence, he investigated the meaning and significance of the chieftains of various local regions adopting the Yamatostyle key hole shaped burial mounds to their tombs, while suggesting a process by which the position of chief priest developed into that of political chieftain. Kobayashi's linking of the emergence of these tumuli to the establishment of a Yamato political authority is now recognized as a seminal piece of archaeological research.\nTo explain the link between bronze mirrors and the role of chief priest, Kobayashi made use of the phrases attributed to Amaterasu Ōmikami in the Kojiki and Nihonshoki, but at the same time deliberately avoided mentioning her name. Even in his later work on the same issue he never used the phrases nor term of goddess. The importance he attached to material evidence made it impossible for him, when dealing with historical fact, to employ the phrases of the god or goddes like Amaterasu Ōmikami, who patently had never existed. Further, to have done so would have appeared to lend support to those political forces intent on reviving a form of education in which Japanese history was to be based on mythology. No doubt aware of this, Kobayashi refused to use the phrases of the goddess. It should always be remembered that progress in Japanese archeological studies has demanded resistance to the pressures inherent in emperor-centered history.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00000794","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第70集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun3/index.html#no70","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"春成, 秀爾","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"ハルナリ, ヒデジ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"2327","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Harunari, Hideji","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"2328","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_070_02.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"2.7 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_070_02.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/811/files/kenkyuhokoku_070_02.pdf"},"version_id":"790a27e2-75b9-4756-9630-031b7cfde484"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"考古学と記紀の相克 : 小林行雄の伝世鏡論","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"考古学と記紀の相克 : 小林行雄の伝世鏡論","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Descrepancies Between Archaeology and Imperial Histories in the KOBAYASHI Yukio's Bronze Mirror Thesis","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["101"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"811","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["考古学と記紀の相克 : 小林行雄の伝世鏡論"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-08-18T06:54:13.379038+00:00"}
