These included axes, adzes, knives, chisels, scythes and plowshares. All had been placed in the stone burial chamber, together with horse trappings and armor, in a narrow space between the dwelling-shaped stone coffin and the inner wall. They were all diminutively sized, but retained traces of wooden handles, so it may be assumed that they were equipped with handles at the time they were buried.\nThis custom of burying iron agricultural implements is a special characteristic of early and middle Tomb Period burials in Japan. Initially actual agricultural implements were buried, but from the end of the early period into the middle period there are numerous examples of stone models or iron miniatures in tumuli. There are various theories to account for the presence of agricultural implements as grave goods, but it is generally thought that they would have been used as ritual objects in religious ceremonies by the priest with whom they were buried. By the same logic we can understand how, during the middle Tomb period, stone models of sake brewing implements or of weaving looms came to be buried with priestly functionaries.\nThe custom of burying these iron agricultural implements all together gradually disappeared in the late Tomb Period. In particular, cases like that of the Fujinoki tumulus, where some hundred such objects were placed beside the coffin, are almost unknown. Since the Fujinoki tomb dates to the late 6th century, the very end of the Tomb Period, the extremely anachronistic nature of these agricultural grave goods may suggest something about the character of this particular tomb. Like the presence of the elaborate Japanese-style sword, which could conceivably have been the model for the jewelled sword at he Shrine, these goods may well indicate that whoever was buried in the Fujinoki tomb was a member of the monarchical family responsible for officiating at national religious ceremonies.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"日本の農耕文化の諸問題Ⅱ","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"Studies on Farming Culture II","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00000800","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第70集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun3/index.html#no70","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"白石, 太一郎","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"シライシ, タイチロウ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Shiraishi, Taichiro","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_070_11.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.4 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_070_11.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/817/files/kenkyuhokoku_070_11.pdf"},"version_id":"b55c70b2-69df-4091-8eab-b7ef47b685ac"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"藤ノ木古墳出土農工具の提起する問題(日本の農耕文化の諸問題Ⅱ)","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"藤ノ木古墳出土農工具の提起する問題(日本の農耕文化の諸問題Ⅱ)","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Some Problems Arising from Agricultural Implements Excavated from the Fujinoki Tumulus (Studies on Farming Culture II)","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["101"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"817","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["藤ノ木古墳出土農工具の提起する問題(日本の農耕文化の諸問題Ⅱ)"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-08-18T07:27:15.211157+00:00"}
