My examinations are based on the following four assumptions: 1) the decorative patterns and the composition of paintings were a reflection of decorative meanings, and they were spatially correlated; 2) the position and size of paintings and decorative patterns indicate differential significance of the themes and/or the artists' different degrees of interest in them; 3) the paintings and decorative patterns should not be interpreted from a modern perspective; and 4) all the decorations should be considered as a set or in their context.\nOn the basis of my analysis, I propose two interpretations; one on a series of triangles, the other on paintings of whirlpools and animals. Patterns involving a series of triangles have usually been interpreted as geometric patterns related to ritual. I argue, however, that the series should be considered to symbolize a curtain hung around a position. In the particular case of the Nakata No. 1 tunnel tomb, the tunnel represents a battlefield, bearing in mind the arrangements of funerary objects that were deposited with the dead.\nWith regard to paintings of whirlpools and animals, I argue that they represent a scene of hunting. This kind of painting was used in the Izumizaki No. 4 tunnel tomb. These representations probably originated from a group of haniwa clay objects that depicted a scene of hunting.\nWhen the individual attributes of these decorations of the tunnel tombs in Fukushima are compared with those of Kyushu, numerous differences can be seen. Therefore, I find it difficult to support the commonly accepted hypothesis that decorated tombs in Fukushima spread from Kyushu. As to the social status of those buried in decorated tombs, they were not the elite, but rather the class of people who constructed clustered minor tombs in the sixth century.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"装飾古墳の諸問題","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"Current Issues on Kofun Period Tombs with Decorated Burial Facilities","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15024/00000889","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立歴史民俗博物館","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"第80集 収録論文 タイトルリスト"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://www.rekihaku.ac.jp/outline/publication/ronbun/ronbun4/index.html#no80","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00377607","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0286-7400","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"福島, 雅儀","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"フクシマ, マサヨシ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Fukushima, Masayoshi","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"kenkyuhokoku_080_05.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"5.3 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"kenkyuhokoku_080_05.pdf","url":"https://rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/906/files/kenkyuhokoku_080_05.pdf"},"version_id":"aca15955-19b6-4d8f-97c7-f97bd434073a"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"福島県の装飾横穴","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"福島県の装飾横穴","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Decorated Tunnel Tombs in Fukushima, Northeastern Japan","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["109"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2016-04-01"},"publish_date":"2016-04-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"906","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["福島県の装飾横穴"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-08-28T04:33:08.255629+00:00"}
