{"created":"2023-05-15T14:46:02.454569+00:00","id":949,"links":{},"metadata":{"_buckets":{"deposit":"0d9fb885-a5ae-4eb2-acf3-37ab10480d18"},"_deposit":{"created_by":3,"id":"949","owners":[3],"pid":{"revision_id":0,"type":"depid","value":"949"},"status":"published"},"_oai":{"id":"oai:rekihaku.repo.nii.ac.jp:00000949","sets":["21:113"]},"author_link":["2605","2606"],"control_number":"949","item_10002_biblio_info_7":{"attribute_name":"書誌情報","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"2000-03-31","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicPageEnd":"115","bibliographicPageStart":"91","bibliographicVolumeNumber":"84","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"国立歴史民俗博物館研究報告","bibliographic_titleLang":"ja"},{"bibliographic_title":"Bulletin of the National Museum of Japanese History","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_10002_description_19":{"attribute_name":"フォーマット","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"application/pdf","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10002_description_5":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"八世紀に成立した日本の律令国家は、列島内における未服属集団である「蝦夷」を夷狄身分として位置付け、また現在残されている史料も「蝦夷」をこのような理念的な立場から捉えているものが多い。しかしその一方で「蝦夷」という人間集団に対する認識も一定であったとは考えられず、国家によって実際に行なわれる「蝦夷」政策とその展開の中で、「蝦夷」認識も変化していったと思われる。\n本論文は八世紀における「蝦夷」認識の変遷を、陸奥国を中心に考察したものである。律令において「蝦夷」は身分的には夷狄・化外人として設定されながらも、最初は百姓身分への上昇も想定された存在であった。大宝令段階では「蝦夷」支配の基本政策は「撫慰」であるが、これは「蝦夷」の百姓化を目的としたものであったと思われる。八世紀の前半はこの「撫慰」（招慰）による百姓化政策が展開されたが、それに対する「蝦夷」社会の抵抗（養老四年・神亀元年）が百姓化の限界を認識させ、それは「蝦夷」＝異質な集団という認識として神亀年間に「俘囚」身分の創出と「近夷郡」（黒川以北十郡）の成立という形で具体化する。この二つの認識は九世紀まで続くものであり、その意味では「蝦夷」認識の基本的な成立はこの時期に求められるともいえよう。天平宝字年間から行なわれる新たな「蝦夷」政策は、このような認識を前提として行なわれ、この時期の支配政策として展開されるのが「饗給」であると考えられる。従来撫慰＝饗給という理解が一般的であったが、律令国家の「蝦夷」認識とその変化という観点からみても両者は明らかに次元の異なる政策である。さらに「蝦夷」の包摂の論理として「王民」という概念も用いられるようになり、「蝦夷」は理念的には王民化されるべき存在となる。しかしこの政策も「蝦夷」社会を内国化（百姓化）することはできず、逆に境界的地域であった黒川以北十郡において「蝦夷」社会を差別化する動きが「俘囚」の王民化（宝亀元年）という形で現れる。現地における「蝦夷」社会の差別化は、律令国家の「蝦夷」認識も固定化させるのである。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"Japanese legal system established in the eighth century and it defined “emishi” as iteki rank, as population who was not subjugated by the central government. As the state promulgated various anti-emishi policies, the cognition of emishi would have changed through time. This paper discusses the changes in the cognition of emishi especially in the Mutsu province in the eighth century.\nAlthough the civil and penal codes defined the emishi as aliens, the government had considered that emishi could be incorporated into Japanese society. Thus the anti-emishi policy during the Taiho legislation was relatively mild in order to facilitate their Japanization. This policy lasted until the early eighth century.\nWhen emishi resisted the Japanese control and provoked riots, the government abandoned the Japanization policy. Instead it established a new tax-exempted rank called fushu to include the emishi, and set up new frontier counties for emishi to reside. The cognition of emishi as non-subjugated group prevailed until the ninth century.\nSucceeding anti-emishi policy returned to facilitate their obedience to the government. It attempted to japanize emishi but never fully accomplished. The discrimination against emishi gradually accumulated among people in the frontiers since emishi was tax-exempted as the fushu rank.
