内容記述タイプ Abstract
内容記述 In the latter half of the third century in all areas of Japan, except the north and the south, giant “keyhole” shaped burial mounds were constructed. This can be thought to reflect the formation of a political alliance with the main power residing with the Yamato force in the Kinki region. This group help power over the various areas of the archipelago. It can be thought that cooperation among forces in the Kinki and Setonaikai coastal areas for the purpose of stealing control of the import routes for iron and other advanced culture commodities from the Korean peninsula from the forces in northern Kyusyu was what lead to the formation of this wide-reaching political alliance. The external factor of foreign relations certainly played a great part in the formation of a political world in the Japanese archipelago.
The yamato alliance that was thus formed became even more civilized. More extreme measrues were necessary in order for Japan to join the international society of East Asia. External stimulation due to strained international relations in East Asia between Koguryo and the South after the latter half of the fourth century were what spurred this activity. There were also demands from the kingdoms of Paekche and Kayaand the Yamato nation got into a direct battle with the horse-riding forces of Koguryo. This led to the reception of advanced metal-working skills for the production of weapons and horce-riding culture. It also led to the reception of the culture of Chinese characters as a means of conducting foreign diplomacy and other various cultures and technologies that advanced scholarship and thought. The civilization of the Yamato nation was founded on a definitive maturation of agricultural society, however the results of that independent development were not the sole deciding factor. Strong external stimulus was the key point.
