| 内容記述 | 亀ケ岡文化は，主な規定要素である材質・身体性・文様表現の共有性と排他性を操ることによって，各形式相互の関連性を考慮しながら各宗教遺物の形式属性を決定していた。このことは，当時の社会が各宗教遺物をつらぬく統一的な意図をもっていたこと，さらにはそこに何らかの構造が存在していたであろうことを暗示している。そして，亀ケ岡文化は東北地方全域に共通するような基本構造を前提としながらも，さらにその内部の各地域がそれぞれその基本構造の構成要素の改変をおこない，自地域特有の独自性をだそうとしていた。 それに対して，関東地方はその宗教遺物の構成が，亀ケ岡文化との共通性を強くもちながらも東北地方内の各地域と間の差異とは同列に扱えない地域といえる。現在，６遺跡８点を数える関東地方以西の屈折像土偶は，後・晩期の立像土偶との関係において東北地方に類似した傾向を示すが，最終的な評価は関東地方あるいは近畿地方での文化構造のなかに占める位置によって論じられるべきだろう。 |

| 内容記述 | The religious relics of the Kamegaoka Culture were identified as to type and attributes by manipulating the commonness and exclusivity of the materials, physical characteristics, and expression of patterns, which are the main deciding factors of a culture, and considering the relationship between the various styles. This suggests that the society, at that time, had a unified intention which ran through the various religious relics, and that there might have existed some kind of structure. In the Kamegaoka Culture, with its basic structure common to the whole Tôhoku District, each sub-area therein attempted to reform the components of its basic structure, and to show an originality unique to that sub-area. On the other hand, though the structure of religious relics in the Kantô District had a lot in common with the Kamegaka Culture, the difference between it and the Tôhoku District was larger than the differences among the various sub-areas of the Tôhoku District. So far, eight clay figurines in bending posture have been excavated from six sites to the west of the Kantô District. These clay figurines show a trend similar tot hose of the Tôhoku District in the later and final period, but the final assessment should perhaps be discussed based on their position in the cultural structure of the Kantô or Kinki Districts. |
