| 内容記述 | 本稿は，遺跡の発掘調査により設定された遺跡層序に，縄文時代草創期に相当する層準を見出し，その層相や遺存状況などから，最終氷期の晩氷期における環境変動が遺跡の層序や地形に影響を与えている可能性のあることを述べる。古環境変遷や古環境復元といえば，これまでは大型化石も微化石も良好に保存された低湿地遺跡などで議論されることが多かった。しかし，最近の発掘調査では，詳細な自然科学分析やその測定精度の向上により，台地上の遺跡からも環境変動や変遷を窺わせる情報が検出されている。ここでは，武蔵野台地の遺跡調査において継続的に行ってきた立川ローム層の遺跡層序を対象として，重鉱物組成と火山ガラスの産状を分析することにより草創期の層準を特定し，地形環境を解析する。とくに台地から低地への斜面地や台地縁辺部での遺跡層序から推定された地形の変化や土壌の特性は，縄文時代草創期の環境変動の影響を受けやすい地形環境下であった可能性が考えられる。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This article describes that the stratigraphic horizon corresponding to the initial stage of the Jomon period was found in the stratigraphy of the site set for excavation and investigation of the remains and that according to its facies and the residual state, there is a possibility that the environmental variations at the late glacial stage of the last glacial period affected the stratigraphy and terrain of the site. To date, based on swampy sites where both large and minute fossils were preserved in good condition, paleo-environmental transition and paleo-environmental restoration have often been discussed. In the recent excavations and investigations, however, detailed natural scientific analyses and improvement of their measurement accuracy have led to the finding of data, at the sites on the plateaus, implying that there were environmental variations and transition. Here, for the stratigraphy of the site on the Tachikawa loam continuously observed in the investigation of the sites on the Musashino Daichi, the heavy mineral assemblage and the occurrence of volcanic glass are analyzed to identify the horizon in the Early Jomon period, and the terrain environment is analyzed. There is a possibility that especially, the changes of terrains and the properties of soil, which were presumed from the stratigraphy of the sites on the sloping land from the plateau to the low land and in the marginal area of the plateau were made under a terrain environment susceptible to the environmental variations at the initial stage of the Jomon period. | |||||||||||
