| 内容記述 | 本論文は，まず開港以来，日本の漁民が朝鮮漁民と出会ってからお互いに認識するようになった両国の漁業技術上の差異を確認し，こうした両国の漁業技術的差が選好の魚種の違いに基づいていたという点を究明する。そして特定の魚種に対する両国の異なる選好が両国間の自然環境と経済水準ではなく，魚の象徴的意味とその歴史的形成過程に関連していることをマダイとグチ(韓国名：チョウギ)を例に説明する。最後に特定の魚種に対する民族的選好が植民地朝鮮の漁業(と漁業技術)の展開過程に及ぼした影響を分析する。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is two fold : to illustrate the differences in Japanese and Korean fisheries techniques since the opening of ports when the fishermen of both countries first encountered and became aware of each other and to clarify the characteristics of Japanese and Korean fisheries techniques that were determined by the different fish preferences between the two countries. Additionally, by using the examples of red sea bream and silver jewfish (chougi in Korean), this study revealed that ethnic differences in preferences for fish species were formed by both the symbolic meaning of fish and the historical process whereby those symbols assigned to specific meaning instead of the natural environment or the economic standards. Furthermore, this paper analyzes that the preferences for specific fish species affected the development of distinct fisheries techniques in the colonial Korea. | |||||||||
