| 内容記述 | これまでの民俗学において，〈在日朝鮮人〉についての調査研究が行なわれたことは皆無であった。この要因は，民俗学（日本民俗学）が，その研究対象を，少なくとも日本列島上をフィールドとする場合には〈日本国民〉〈日本人〉であるとして，その自明性を疑わなかったところにある。そして，その背景には，日本民俗学が，国民国家イデオロギーと密接な関係を持っていたという経緯が存在していると考えられる。 しかし，近代国民国家形成と関わる日本民俗学のイデオロギー性が明らかにされ，また批判されている今日，民俗学がその対象を〈日本国民〉〈日本人〉に限定し，それ以外の，〈在日朝鮮人〉をはじめとするさまざまな人々を研究対象から除外する論理的な根拠は存在しない。 本稿では，このことを前提とした上で，民俗学の立場から，〈在日朝鮮人〉の生活文化について，これまで他の学問分野においても扱われることの少なかった事象を中心に，民俗誌的記述を試みた。 ここで検討した生活文化は，いずれも現代日本社会におけるピジン・クレオール文化として展開されてきたものであり，また〈在日朝鮮人〉が日本社会で生活してゆくための工夫が随所に凝らされたものとなっていた。この場合，その工夫とは，マイノリティにおける「生きていく方法」「生存の技法」といいうるものである。 さらにまた，ここで記述した生活文化は，マジョリティとしての国民文化との関係性を有しながらも，それに完全に同化しているわけではなく，相対的な自律性をもって展開され，かつ日本列島上に確実に根をおろしたものとなっていた。 本稿は，多文化主義による民俗学研究の必要性を，こうした具体的生活文化の記述を通して主張しようとしたものである。 |

| 内容記述 | Japanese folklore has never researched on “Koreans in Japan”, mainly because we have thought that Japanese folklore is to deal with “the Japanese”, namely “Japanese nationality” as far as the field is on the Japanese Archipelago, and we have never doubted its self-evidence. In its background, it is supposed that there exist the conditions that Japanese folklore has had close relation with the nation-state ideology. However, now it is apparent that Japanese folklore wore ideologism related with the formation of a modern nation-state, and this ideologism has recently been criticized. Therefore there are no more logical grounds to limit the objects of Japanese folklore to “the Japanese” or “Japanese nationality”, and to exclude other people such as “Koreans in Japan” from its objects. Taking the above discussion into account, this paper aims to describe life culture of “Koreans in Japan” ethnographically, centering the aspect of living which has not much been dealt with even in other fields of study. The life culture which this paper deals with is the one developed as Pidgin-Creole culture in modern Japanese society, and it is exerted everywhere with ingenuity of “Koreans in Japan” to live in Japanese society. Ingenuity in this case is not too much to say “how to live”, or “surviving techniques”. Moreover, this life culture does not adapt itself perfectly to majority Japanese national culture, with which in fact it has connection. It has been developed with relative independence, and the same time it has taken strong root in the Japanese Archipelago. This paper tries to emphasize the necessity of multicultural folklore study through description of concrete life culture of “Koreans in Japan”. |
